Most packaging projects start with the dieline! Which is then brought into Adobe Illustrator to apply brand elements, typography, and imagery. After feedback and revisions, the flat design can be imported into Photoshop.
Allowing artwork to be wrapped around boxes, bottles, or other forms to simulate depth, shadows, highlights, and textures for a lifelike result. Giving clients a realistic preview of the final product, helping them envision the packaging before manufacturing begins.
Creating artwork in Russian is a unique experience but does introduce obstacles. The largest being the alphabet itself, which is a Russian Cyrillic alphabet derived from the Cyrillic script. This immediately limits the choices for font families. Options have improved over the last few years though!
